• We regret to announce the passing of Sarah Barkai z"l, the mother of our member Adi Sarid. The funeral took place on Sunday, March 31, in Rehovot. Adi will be sitting shiva in her mother's home, Rechov Ha'achim Treves 21, Rehovot, through Friday afternoon, April 5. Visiting hours are from 14:00 - 20:00 daily, and from 9:00 - 13:00 on Friday. • We regret to announce the passing of Helen Sherman Cohen z"l, the mother of our member Sidney Cohen. The funeral took place Tuesday, April 2nd at the Rehovot cemetery. • Hashkama minyan this week will start at 6:20 (3 sifrei Torah this shabbat), and not as indicated on the calendar.

• The Zedaka Committee wishes to remind those who have not yet sent their donations for Maot Hittim to do so as soon as possible. Last year we were able to help more than 300 families. Please be generous and send your contributions in a timely manner, so we can reach out to people before the chag. • **This coming week** April 7th at 8pm The Education Committee and Amudim, invite you to “Straight Talk”, an educational event about substance and alcohol abuse and addiction within the Orthodox community. The event will be in English and is aimed at parents of children of ALL ages, grandparents, educators and everyone in the Orthodox community. This is an important subject that often gets ignored.   Some of the important highlights from the CRC Guide are as follows:
  - All pill medication (with or without chametz) that one swallows is permitted without special hashgacha. Vitamins and Food supplements do not necessarily fall under this category.
  - Liquid and chewable medications that contain kitniyot are permitted for one who is ill.
  - All varieties of body soaps, shampoos and stick deodorants are permitted for use on Pesach regardless of their ingredients.
  - All types of ointments, creams, nail polish, hand lotions, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, foot and face powders, and ink and paint may be used regardless of their ingredients.
  -Lipstick, mouthwash and toothpaste which contain Chametz should not be used.
  -Alcohol products produced in the USA do not contain grain alcohol.
