SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS​​

• The 2017 Annual General Membership meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday night, Jan. 28 at 20:00. Members with agenda items that they wish to bring up at the AGM should send them to the President and/or the Board at least a week before the meeting. Committee and financial reports and other materials will gradually be posted over the next few days. The Audit Committee report is already available in the member documents section.

• Lecture [in English] by Avram L. Sacks Attorney-at-Law who will speak on Strategies for Maximizing Your US Social Security Retirement Benefits Sunday Evening, 3rd of Shvat 5777 (January 29, 2017), 20:00 – 21:30 at Bermans. The lecture is intended for those who have accumulated enough years of  work to be entitled to US social security benefits, are still paying social security taxes, or are already receiving such benefits. Details on the Noticeboard.
• Help wanted: Mini-Minyan coordinator. We are seeking a parent to run the Mini Minyan, including the purchasing of snacks and handling of payments to the teenage madrichim (all from the shul budget). Contact Elana Bogdansky at 054-664-1339 for more information and to volunteer.

• New shiur topic. The Tuesday evening series [20:30-21:15] taught by Eitan Ronen (in English) will be starting a new topic: "T'filla in its historical context". • Combined Kislev/Tevet/Shevat Jointly Sponsored Yahrtzeit Kiddush. The Kislev/Tevet/Shevat JSK will be held on February 11th Parashat Beshalach. To participate in the kiddush, please contact Judd Bogdansky no later than Sunday February 5th. Participation: 150 NIS per person.
