Kiddush on Shabbat is sponsored by Bea and Jerry Kriger in honor of Jerry's 70th birthday, as well as to celebrate two wonderful family smachot (see below).

Hashkama minyan qiddush is sponsored by Annice and Ira Grinberg to commemorate the yahrzeits of Annice's and Ira's mothers, and in honor of their granddaughter's engagement (see below)

• Mazal Tov to Bea and Jerry Kriger on the birth of a grandson, a son to their children Hadar and Ariel Kriger, of Tel Aviv. Mazal Tov also to grandparents Yaffa and Nir Divon of Kfar Saba.

Bar/Bat Mitzva:

• Mazal Tov to Bea and Jerry Kriger on the Bar Mitzva of their grandson Itai Shindler, the son of their children Yael and Hanoch Shindler of Beit Gamliel. Mazal Tov also to Itai's grandmother, Kochava Shindler, also of Beit Gamliel.
• Mazal Tov to Rhea and Larry Israel on the Bat Mitzva of their granddaughter Reut, daughter of Esther and Amos Israel-Vleeschhouwer of Jerusalem.

SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS​

• Short chug for young elementary age (from age 7) kids to learn to lead Anaim Zemirot taught by Avital Beer. Three sessions on Oct 29, Nov. 5, and Nov 12th, immediately after the Parashat HaShavua shiur on Shabbat morning. For more information, contact Avital at beer.avital@gmail.com.

• Singers wanted. The male voice choir is continuing its post-chagim activities. New voices always warmly received. Please contact Stephen Simpson for details about activities and rehearsals.
• From the Azrielis. The Azrieli's are temporarily moving this coming Sunday (for 2 months) to an apartment on Prof. Revel St 3. Their cell phone numbers remain unchanged and are available in the members' directory. They would love to hear from everyone.

• Combined Elul/Tishrei/Heshvan Jointly Sponsored Yahrtzeit Kiddush. The Elul 5776, Tishrei 5777, and Chesvan 5777 JSK will be held on Nov 19th Parashat Vayera. To participate in the kiddush, please contact Judd Bogdansky no later than Sunday November 13th, 2016. Participation: 150 NIS per person.
• קידוש משותף ליארצייט אלול תשרי וחשבן. הקידוש המשותף לציון יארצייטים של חודשים אלול תשרי וחשבן יתקיים בשבת פרשת וירא (19 בנובמבר 2016). אם ברצונך להשתתף נא ליצור קשר עם ג'וד בוגדנסקי לא יאוחר מיום ראשון, 13 בנובמבר. השתתפות: 150 ש'ח לכל שם.

• Welcome to David and Lynn Gross! Lynn and David have just made aliyah from Albany, NY! They are the parents of our member, Marissa Yarm. David is a RN, Home Health Care supervisor and Lynn was a senior center diirector. She also had a small music gig on the side (music appreciation, sings, piano, guitar) They both retired last month.
