• Feeling kind of lonely? Maybe no one knows how to find you. Join the hundreds of lucky people who will have correct listings in the 2016 Bermans members' directory. We will imminently be printing and distributing the new members' directory; please check your listing (link to draft here), and review your personal information in the ShulCloud directory here, and correct it as necessary. Furthermore, as we are updating our SMS distribution list based on these same data, please ensure that your phone numbers are entered in full international format, e.g. +972(54)1234567, +972(8)1234567.
   
• Volunteer help wanted. Looking for coordinator (or co-coordinator) of meals to be delivered to members who are sitting shiva. If meals are requested, the job involves opening a page on Take-them-a-meal, and -if necessary- encouraging people to sign up. For more information and to volunteer, please contact Chaya Tannor.
   
• From the Education Committee: On shabbat Parshat Pekudei (March 12th) we will be honored to have Rabbi Yitzchak Breitowitz as a scholar in residence. Rabbi Breitowitz received his bachelor of arts from Johns Hopkins University and obtained semicha from Ner Israel Rabbinical College. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and shortly thereafter became the Rav of the Silver Spring Woodside Shule in Silver Spring Maryland while maintaining status as a tenured professor at the University of Maryland School of Law. • More from the Education Committee: Since the feedback of last lecture given by Yad Vashem (on the 10th of Tevet) was somewhat negative, as the lecture in English was given by a non native English speaker (although the lecturer was definitely knowledgeable and would have been more erudite in Hebrew), Yad Vashem graciously, on their own, offered to provide another lecture at Berman's, gratis. On Sunday April 3rd, we will be having another lecture from Yad Vashem, this time in Hebrew. The topic and lecturer's name will follow.
   
• Adar I and II Jointly Sponsored Yahrtzeit Kiddush. The Adar I and II Yahrtzeit JSK will be held on Shabbat, Parshat  Pekudei (12.3.2016).  To participate in the kiddush, please contact Judd Bogdansky no later than Sunday March 6th 2016. Participation: 150 NIS.
