For several years the Berman Community Center synagogue has hosted groups of soldiers in "Nativ ", a course for olim designed to deepen their Jewish identity. Following the course, many of the participants who are not halachically Jewish graduate to conversion courses, during which the host families "adopt" them. Because of our active involvement, Bermans was one of five communities that this year received a certificate of recognition from the Prime Minister's Office. מזה כמה שנים שבית כנסת ברמן / מרכז קהלתי ברמן, מארח בשבתות קבוצות של חיילים מקורס "נתיב" - קורס להעמקת הזהות היהודית המיועד לעולים. בעקבות הקורס רבים מהעולים שאינם יהודים הלכתית ממשיכים לקורסי גיור והמשפחות המארחות מהשבתון מאמצות את החיילים במהלך הגיור. בעקבות הפעילות האינטנסיבית הזו נבחר בית כנסת ברמן לאחד מ 5 הקהילות שקיבלו השנה את אות ההערכה  מטעם לשכת ראש הממשלה. כל הכבוד לאילנה פרידלנדר שעבדה קשה לארגן את הפרויקט הזה בקהילתנו. אנו מקווים להרחיב עוד את פעילותנו, בתחום זה, המתעניינים יכולים לקבלת פרטים נוספים אצל: אילנה פרידלנדר או באמצאות  דוא"ל ל This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
