    The Rosh-Hashana Letter and the (revised) Seating/Membership Form (.pdf or .xls) have been placed at the top of the Bermanshul homepage. Please order your seats ASAP so as to minimize the last-minute stress on our volunteer gabbaim and to avoid your own disappointment. Also, please let the gabaim know if seats that you have booked will not be needed for some Rosh Hashana or Yom Kippur services.

  • Members organizing private events (e.g. wedding, bar/bat mitzva celebrations etc.) are advised to use the shul calendar as follows:
    1. You can check for a date that does not clash with another event in the community.
    2. You may have your event listed as an anonymous "private event" so that others can avoid scheduling another event at the same time. Please let any board member know or send your request by e-mail to bermanshul@gmail.com.
  • PERSONAL & BASEMENT

    • Housing search: I'm looking for a place to live in Rechovot, close to public transportation. Preferably around 50 sq.m. 2-2.5rm apartment with mazgan and equipped kitchen, as I don't have any large appliances of my own. I do however have all my furniture, so the apartment would have to be unfurnished. I hope to spend around 2,500 NIS. Tatyana 054-713-7629
       
    • Tova and husband Yosi Hadad, formerly of Kfar Darom, rent cabins ("tsimmerim") and operate recreational activities for visitors to the Golan (golf-cart field tours, raspberry picking, archery, trampolines). Tova's number: 054-5684574.
       
    • I am seeking a babysitter, daily (Sun- Thurs) from 16:00-17:30. The sitter will need to collect my son from gan and bring him home (a two minute walk), give him a snack, and play until Ima and Abba get home from work. My son is 4 (will be 5 after chagim), and a happy, fun kid. This job is available for the upcoming school year. In addition: from 01-02/09 and 05-7/09 (inclusive) additional babysitting hours are needed, from around 11:00 to 17:00.
